Andy Brogan Co-founder of Easier Inc.
Biography:Andy Brogan is co-founder of Easier Inc. Working across sectors, his focus is on removing the everyday frictions that arise between people and institutions; frictions that make work harder than it needs to be. In recent years, Andy’s work has received growing interest and credit. His work with Here (Care Unbound) helped them secure Social Enterprise of the Year and Employee Owned Innovation of the Year while his work with Wellbeing Teams helped them to become the first self-managing organisation to achieve an Outstanding CQC rating, also winning a Guardian Public Service Award. In North Devon, Andy’s support to healthcare partners became the cornerstone of NHS England’s GIRFT (Get It Right First Time) approach to Pathology. Bringing together insights from across disciplines such as Agile, Systems Thinking, Theory of Constraints, Human Factors and Complexity Theory, Andy’s current projects are:
Mark Smith Independent consultant specialising in public service reform and a Visiting Professor for Public Service Innovation at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK)
Biography:Mark Smith is an independent consultant specialising in public service reform and a Visiting Professor for Public Service Innovation at Manchester Metropolitan University (UK). He has over 25 years’ experience in leading and redesigning public services, including two years as Head of Digital and nine years as a Director for a local authority. His innovations around building data and technology around relational practice that help to support people with complex needs has led to transformative outcomes whilst consuming fewer resources. He is now combining academic work and independent consultancy in advising the public sector, community organisations and the UK government in their pursuit of public service reform.
Please Note: This session, is a hands on intimate workshop, designed to create an environment where public sector professionals can privately, under Chatham House Rules, discuss and solve their key business challenges. To ensure productive peer to peer discussion registration will be subject to approval.
