Cutting Through the Noise: AI-Powered Tender Management
Speaker: Kai Donato
Tender processes are slow and complex. Our APEX prototype uses AI and OCR to cut through the noise—extracting key data and enabling smart analysis with ChatGPT. The result: faster decisions, lower costs, and a smoother user experience. I’ll share where today’s AI shines, where it struggles, and what’s next.

Document RAG Solutions using APEX 24.2 new features and OCI Generative AI Agents Service
Speakers: Pekka Kanerva & Jari Laine
In this presentation we will show how to build two Document RAG Solutions with different low-code/no-code methods.
First, we will use the new OCI Generative AI Agents service to ingest documents into a vectorized knowledge base and build an AI Agent to use that as source for RAG. Then we will call the Agent Endpoint from APEX chatbot-type application.
Secondly, we will use APEX 24.2 new features - Vector Providers and RAG Sources - to implement the RAG Solution using Oracle 23ai as the Vector Store and APEX as the User Interface.
Beyond Connectivity: Making APEX Work Offline
Speaker: Kai Donato
In addition to the many qualities of APEX, there is one feature that has not yet been supported: offline capability.
For this reason, developers have so far refrained from creating APEX pages that can be used without an active connection.
However, after several customer projects with precisely this requirement, we have now come to the conclusion that it is indeed possible to make an APEX application offline-capable using appropriate means.
