Mike Dietrich Vice President Product Management - Database Upgrade and Cloud Migrations, Oracle
Mike leads a global team of experts specializing in upgrades and migrations at Oracle, where he has worked for over 28 years. He serves as a key link between customers, partners, and the Oracle Upgrade and Autonomous Database Development teams. Mike conducts technical workshops across a wide range of locations—from the Arctic to Antarctica, as well as virtually. He assists customers with their reference projects both onsite and remotely around the world, troubleshooting issues related to upgrades, migrations, and patching. Always eager to learn something new each day, Mike is an experienced conference speaker and has a passion for music, particularly LPs and vinyl. He enjoys mountain hiking and cycling in his free time. Based in Bavaria, Germany, Mike has more than 30 years of IT experience and holds a degree as a Graduate Engineer (Dipl. Ing. NT/DT) in Data Systems and Information Technology from Georg-Simon-Ohm Technical University in Nürnberg, Germany. Daniel Overby Hansen Distinguished Product Manager - Database Upgrade and Cloud Migrations, Oracle
Daniel is a Distinguished Product Manager specializing in Database Upgrade, Cloud Migrations, and Patching at Oracle. He is an expert in AutoUpgrade and various migration tools and techniques, including Transportable Tablespaces, Data Pump, Oracle GoldenGate, and Zero Downtime Migration (ZDM), as well as Grid Infrastructure Patching. Prior to joining Oracle, Daniel had an extensive career as an operational database administrator and developer for a global financial services provider. He believes that “databases are fun.” When he's not working with databases, he enjoys spending time with his family in Denmark and engaging in outdoor activities such as farming, running, and hiking.
