Global Head of Technology – Data and Security, OMERS
As Global Head of Technology, Data and Security, Rodney has overall accountability for technology strategy, architecture, data, advanced analytics, security and operations.
Rodney previously served as Chief Risk Officer, leading the Risk Management, Compliance and Ethics functions, and working closely with Internal Audit. Under his leadership, these functions interacted with business units across OMERS, and provided monitoring and reporting to senior management, the OMERS Board of Directors and its various committees. Prior to joining OMERS in 2011, Rodn ey worked as a Partner at PwC, where he specialized in auditing complex public and private companies. During this time, he also held several leadership roles with the firm.
Rodney is a graduate from the University of Kent at Canterbury with an Honours Degree in Accounting with Computing. He is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA-UK), a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA, CPA) in Canada, and has completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program.

Dmitry Baev

Dmitry Baev is a senior technology leader with 20+ years of experience leading solutions engineering teams in high growth companies. In his current role, as Group Vice President for Data & AI at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Dmitry is responsible for advising large enterprise customers on their data strategies, including AI/ML and Generative AI technologies. Prior to joining Oracle, Dmitry held various technical leadership roles at H2O, Hortonworks/ Cloudera and MongoDB advising customers on their data landscape. Dmitry holds BSc degree from the University of Toronto.
Scott Charter
Director, North America Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle
Scott Charter has spent over 30 years in the IT industry, including business development roles with data service providers, as well as co-founding several IT start-ups that were acquired by larger firms. His current focus includes leading AI enablement sessions with Oracle sales teams and partners. Simplifying complex technical concepts into plain language is a large part of this role. Scott holds a JD from University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law, and a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University.
Jody Clayton
Senior Director – Advanced Technology, Oracle
Jody Clayton is a Senior Director, NAA Advanced Technology, and has over 28 years of experience in the enterprise software industry. A technologist at heart, Jody is passionate about technology and partnering with customers across industries to adopt Oracle Cloud Applications and Technology to solve their most complex business challenges. At Oracle, she leads a team of experts responsible for representing Oracle Cloud Applications technical topics (Architecture, Security, Integration, DevOps, etc), Analytics, and Emerging Technology for North America. Since joining Oracle, she has had several leadership positions across various technologies including Master Data Management, Platform, Analytics, and AI. Jody holds an undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from Central Michigan University, an MBA from Wayne State University, and an Executive Leadership Certification from the University of Michigan/IESI. In June of 2024, she will complete the Chief Technology Officer Executive Program at UC Berkeley.

Dan has more than 30 years of sales experience in software and technology. He has a career track record as a top performer, a coach, and a mentor. Before his current role running the NACI organization, Dan managed teams in Oracle's utilities, construction & engineering business as well as Oracle applications, including ERP-HCM-EPM.
Before joining Oracle, Dan worked for leading software companies, including IBM, CA, and Salesforce, focused on sales partnerships and customer engagement. Throughout his career, Dan has maintained a customer-centric approach to selling and has leveraged his experience, customer advocacy, and operational excellence to excel in each role.
