Soyoung Lee Co-founder and Head of Business Development, Twelve Labs
Biography:Soyoung is the co-founder and head of business development at Twelve Labs, a company building large multimodal models for video understanding. The company is at the forefront of bringing cutting-edge video understanding capabilities to developers and enterprises building video-centric applications. Previous to co-founding at Twelve Labs, Soyoung was a technology consultant at PwC.
Melissa Massa Vice President, CSP Sales WW, Lenovo
Biography:Melissa joined Lenovo in 2014 and her in-depth knowledge of cloud providers and business transformation has enabled her to be a trusted voice in the industry. Soon after joining Lenovo, Melissa launched the Cloud Service Provider Sales business. Melissa is now the Vice President of CSP WW Sales at Lenovo, a profitable multi-billion-dollar hypergrowth business. Prior to Lenovo, Melissa worked at ZT Systems and Hewlett Packard and has 20+ years of experience in server and solution’s technology. Many of Melissa’s customers at Lenovo have been doing business with her for more than a decade, which is why she is so motivated to understand her client’s needs, meet expectations and build trusted relationships. Melissa has been passionate about building a multi-billion-dollar ODM+ business inside of Lenovo and believes that a diverse & inclusive team enables deeper relationships with a broader set of customers. In 2018, Melissa was nominated for the Women of IT Award in Silicon Valley. Additionally, that year she received the Hero award from her CEO which is the highest form of appreciation in Lenovo. In April of 2021, Melissa was named to the Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Tech. Melissa supports various employee resource groups and initiatives within Lenovo that promote gender equality in the workplace.
Delores ‘Del’ Rochester North America Cloud & Technology, Oracle
Biography:Delores is the Group Vice President for Services & Hospitality of North America Cloud Infrastructure at Oracle. She has over 20 years of experience leading high-performance teams in Sales, Sales Management, Business Development, Financing, Finance, and Operations. Del has received numerous awards as a masterful sales executive, including the Oracle President’s Club Award. Before joining Oracle, she was Northeast Regional Business Unit Executive at Vicom, an I.T. value-added reseller. During her 17-year tenure with IBM, Del was a Business Unit Executive who led a diverse sales team covering eight N.Y. Metro industries, including the relationship with Aetna Life Insurance. She also held various sales and technical roles, which included serving as Financial Sales Executive for N.Y. Metro and leading the engineering team that started up IBM’s $2.5B semiconductor manufacturing facility in New York. While at IBM, she received 3 U.S. and 5 IBM patents and was published in the Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Counsel Journal. A graduate of Brown University, Del received her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. She also holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master of Material Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Del is a member of the Oracle Executive Diversity Council. In addition, she is active in her community, where she serves as chair of the Trustee Ministry at New Hope Baptist Church and is chair of the World Money Parent Board, a non-profit that teaches financial literacy to youth. She is also a lifetime member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. Del and her husband Shawn live in Connecticut with their two children, Ethan and Sarah.
