Mike Dietrich

Senior Director Product Management - Database Upgrade, Migrations and Patching, Oracle, leading a global expert team of upgrade and migration specialists, being at Oracle for over 25 years. Interlink between customers/partners and the Oracle Upgrade Development. Holding technical workshops between Arctic and Antarctica, and of course virtually too. Assisting customers in their reference projects onsite and remotely worldwide. Troubleshooting upgrade, migration and patching issues. Eager to learn something new every day. Experienced conference speaker. Music lover. LP/vinyl enthusiast. Mountain hiker. Cyclist.

Based in Bavaria, Germany. More than 30 years IT experience. Holding a degree as Graduate Engineer (Dipl. Ing. NT/DT) in Data Systems and Information Technology of Georg-Simon-Ohm Technical University, Nürnberg, Germany.

Daniel Overby Hansen
Senior Principal Product Manager - Database Upgrade, Cloud Migrations and Patching, Oracle

Daniel is a Senior Principal Product Manager for Database Upgrade, Cloud Migrations and Patching at Oracle. He is an expert for AutoUpgrade and the various migration tools and techniques such as Transportable Tablespaces, Data Pump, Oracle GoldenGate and ZDM as well as for Grid Infrastructure Patching.
Before joining Oracle, Daniel had a long career as operational database administrator and database developer at a global provider of financial services.
Daniel’s motto is that “databases are fun” but when he is not messing with databases, he takes care of his family in Denmark and enjoys the outdoor life with farming, running and hiking.
