Session Title

Session Description

Accelerate change With Oracle- Time is NOW !

With 79 percent of leaders planning their transactions to be delivered through the SaaS within the 12 months, now is the time to update your business model, systems and run your business with dramatically less complexity and investment.

Join this session to hear from Oracle on the offer to upgrade you to SaaS and also hear on highly successful customers in Asia that have adopted SaaS. Tune in to get the answers for the key questions that are top of mind for every CFO and finance leaders today on - Why they need to change, Why now, and how they can de-risk the journey.

Pushing the Finance Envelope: Top 5 use cases for new technologies in Finance

Future ready CFOs are already leveraging emerging technologies like AI and Machine Learning to detect anomalies, pinpoint inefficiencies, and correlate real-time against historical financial data.

In this session CFOs can learn from real-life use cases that you can implement today to efficiently orchestrate multiple financial processes and deliver deep financial and business insights with visibility, transparency, control and confidence.

How CFOs can monetize data (by 2020)

How CFOs breakaway from being perceived as the custodians of data to enablers of transformation has a direct impact on business. IDC predicts that 60% of large enterprises in Asia Pacific will create data management or monetization capabilities by 2020. CFOs are best-positioned to lead this.
In creating this future-ready function CFOs can start with a roadmap of business benefits, end goals, how to get there and who can help in this journey.
Monetization can mean different things to different organizations. From knowing what data is really required and capturing precisely that, to creating analyses and insights that influence decision-making, or eventually fueling completely transformative business models.

Connected Enterprise Planning - value of linking strategic, financial and sales and ops planning

Why is planning and forecasting so challenging?
• Processes are fragmented; most organisations take an annual approach; there is no direct input from operational areas; and slow planning practices are not keeping pace with changing business conditions. More significantly, spreadsheets are still the most commonly used tool, especially with planners outside of finance.
According to Ventana Research, companies that have integrated planning processes have plans that are more accurate. 77% of planning processes depend to some degree on having access to accurate and timely data from other parts of the organization. This is why integrating the various planning processes provides business benefits. In Ventana’s research, 66% of companies in which plans are directly linked said that their planning process works well or very well. This compares favourably to 40% in those that copy planning data from individual plans to an integrated plan (such as the company budget) and just 25 percent of those that have little or no connection between plans.
How can you align planning across the enterprise & respond to change faster—and more effectively by developing agile forecasts for all lines of business?
How can you create long-range forecasts for unpredictable business dynamics using sophisticated, built-in scenario modelling and gain insight into dimensions of cost and profitability to determine where to invest limited resources?

Invisibililty through Intelligence: Making Operational Finance Touchless

  • Operational finance activities are becoming increasingly “invisible” as are control & compliance tasks – and rightly so.
  • Periodic reporting no longer drives decision making as real time information becomes available supported by deep (predictive) analytics.
In this session we discuss how these operating models are changing not only into the
  • economizer, (increased standardization that drive the cost of SSC down).
  • but also the enabler (for continuous innovation) and
  • equalizer (driving collaboration and strategic alignment across the organisation)

The Final Frontier: People and Culture Drive Future Ready Finance

Join this session to understand what CFOs can do to upskill, attract and engage finance professionals that can be the change makers of future ready finance.

Truly evolved finance teams are those that can move away from a mindset that drives single-target operating model with end-state goals, to the adoption of multiple, simultaneous, dynamic business models.

  • - Labor-intensive transaction processing, to the relentless automation of routine processes—freeing up finance professionals to focus on strategic activities.
  • - Copying agile models, to building agile business systems that enable anticipation of and response to change.
  • - Managing stores of data, to creating and sharing meaningful insights with leadership across the organization.
  • - Siloed, inflexible technology solutions to a single, connected cloud that is always up-to-date, costs less, and is easier to manage.

Digital Thread - Follow the Red: Visibility to critical operational, machine, product and 3rd party data so you can make better decisions about how to manage resources and risk

Digital Thread represents the continuous and invisible line that links internal and external processes, taking advantage from a correct use of the big amount of available data across the whole value chain. Digital Thread allows companies that want to innovate, to benefit from the added value that a correct digitalization process can bring. Digital Thread allows us to present all our solutions in a fully integrated scenario.

Industry 5.0 - The new paradigm

Industry 5.0 is the new paradigm for MFG. Thanks to emerging technologies as AI, IoT, augmented reality, digital twin and advanced collaborative robotic, human and machine can work strictly providing their best. Thanks to the newest available machines (physicals and logics), human can let them work on heavier tasks and concentrate itself on value added tasks. Higher value human can provide is about creativity and ingenious. With Industry 5.0 we can create a new Renaissance!

Digital Logisitics 4.0

It is not uncommon to see traditional organizations face logistics and supply chain challenges such as low transparency of fleet movement, un-optimized routes, fuel wastage, vehicle breakdown, irregular vehicle maintenance, inability to track goods’ movement/delivery and failure to employ actionable intel to make smart business decisions. Managing overall transportation costs remains the top challenge of the industry. Corporate shippers are demanding greater visibility into their goods during transit while guaranteeing on- time delivery, and anticipating problems and having backup plans for unplanned events. The good news is that new-age digital technologies are helping to ensure end-to-end optimum logistics operations while enabling cost reduction initiatives.

Buyer-centric, Demand driven Supply Chain

The transformative shift toward buyer-centric, demand driven supply chain and newer business models is pushing supply chain leaders to solve challenges across people, process, technology, and organizational silos. Businesses need to Interlock trends that support the migration toward localized, highly agile manufacturing and logistics models with traditional ones.
Supply Chain leaders need to build a repertoire of skills and tools that can support businesses at every step of this transformation.
Join us for this exclusive discussion as we uncover all this and more just for you and select group of your peers
