The ever increasing amount of data requires much more automation in the management and the insight delivery of data. The new data management solutions use Machine learning to automate many tasks a DBA are doing today. What will be the role of a DBA tomorrow? The Darvin theory explains that it’s not the strongest who will survive but the one that can adapt rapidly to change. Many tasks from DBA’s can be fully automated today, but as a DBA you are at the heart of the most valuable asset of your company. The Data. Autonomous Database provides key capabilities like machine learning that will help you rapidly delivering new value. We propose to expend the skills from managing data to delivering insight from data or in other words: “From DBA to Data Scientist”. In this workshop we will give you some ideas and foundation of how you could transform and adapt to the new paradigm, deliver much more value to your organization and stay fully relevant in the future. We will guide you through the process and job of a data scientist by using the autonomous DB capabilities to deliver a complete use case. The workshop will be hands on oriented. Join us to learn new value and have fun.
