As Innovation Director, Ian is responsible for market and business development for Oracle NEXT, which is a unique team of individuals (business innovators, solution designers, developers and impact analysts) who help customers execute their innovative ideas, so they can rapidly get fantastic products, services and experiences to market. With more than 25 years of market development experience, Ian is a frequent speaker on the future of society as a result of developments in IT. Ian started his career in retail at Sainsbury’s in the UK, and then moved into the technology space holding senior marketing & business development positions within organisations such as IBM, Infor, BEA Systems and now Oracle. He also was a founding member of a SaaS start up, which was acquired in 2015 by a major international software vendor.
