Introduction of the Innovation
What is Oracle Construction and Engineering’s Innovation Lab?
Our Innovation Lab is a semi-active construction site behind Oracle’s Textura offices in Deerfield, about 40 minutes from Chicago. It’s a space where Oracle brings construction technology innovation to life, turning future visions into everyday reality for our customers. The creation of the lab reflects the rapid change that the construction industry is undergoing as new technologies become available. As such, working with our technology partners, we assist and guide our customers as they look to adopt new technologies and transform aspects of their business. We provide them with opportunities to experiment with the technology, showing them what can be done with it, and identifying the business value that can be delivered.

Jobs To Be Done Workshops – Shaping our products to meet your outcomesWhat is a Jobs To Be Done workshop?
We (Oracle Construction and Engineering) will present a selection of jobs that we know are generally consistent across the industry. We’ll work with you (our customers) to dig into those jobs to understand what successful completion of those jobs looks like for you. The workshop uses a JTBD framework which will help us identify and prioritize the elements of success that you want in your business. From there, we dig deeper to uncover the obstacles that stand in your way.
These workshops provide a unique opportunity to be a part of the product design process and establish a foundation to collaborate with Oracle Construction and Engineering as we build product. It’s a process that will allow you to provide input into the work we’re doing, strengthening the relationship of our solutions to your business and the industry overall.
