Scott has over 15 years of Enterprise Project Software Management experience and has been with Oracle Primavera for the past 9 years. Prior to Oracle Scott worked at Jacob’s and URS as an engineer, city of San Francisco inspector and managed the project software implementation at URS for training, deployment and support. Scott specializes in Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM), which includes scheduling, resource management, risk analysis, contract management and analytical reporting.
Scott holds a degree in Environmental Engineering from Syracuse University and supports both the E&C and the Public Sector space at Oracle.
Jerry Freeman Director of ITS Enterprise Business Applications and PMO, Tampa International Airport
Jerry has been working with Global Organization and Software vendors for over 25 years and has assisted them in achieving over $2.5 billion in cost reductions, implemented one of the first 90 Day ERP implementations, establish cost effective Software Matching.
He has revolutionized the Technology Justification process to ensure that it is driven by business value, and has assisted companies like Microsoft, Oracle and SAP in understanding the process.
Basak Keskin, MSc CAPM BIM Engineer & Researcher at Airport Cooperative Research Program
Basak Keskin is a second-year Ph.D. student in Syracuse University Civil & Environmental Engineering Program with concentration in construction management. She has been gaining parallel experiences both in academia and industry. She worked as Building Information Modeling (BIM) Engineer in one of the world’s largest aviation projects “Istanbul Grand Airport Project” while completing her master’s degree. She combined her professional experience with her academic studies; and published three conference papers named as Building Information Modeling (BIM) Implementation for Sustainability Analysis: A Mega Airport Project Case Study (2018); BIM Implementation in Mega Projects: Challenges and Enablers in the Istanbul Grand Airport (IGA) Project (2018); and Project & Portfolio Management Software Use in Construction Industry (2016).
Karen Pilla Director, Product Management, Oracle
As a Product Strategy Director, Karen manages the strategic direction of the Primavera P6 EPPM product suite to deliver value to customers. She gathers and analyzes market trends and customer requests to develop business requirements for new product releases and works closely with the development team to transform business requirements into feature specifications. She is responsible for managing and launching Oracle’s Primavera P6 EPPM releases and acts as main point of contact for Primavera SaaS offerings.
