Kash serves as the Vice President, Product and Strategy of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Prior to joining Oracle, Kash led the product strategy, business development, sales and GTM at PLUMgrid, a leading SDN startup. VMware acquired PLUMgrid in 2016. Prior to PLUMgrid, Kash was Head of Dell Network Business Development and Sales for North America. Under his leadership, the size of Dell’s networking team doubled within one year and achieved more than 50 percent year-over-year sales revenue growth. Kash came to Dell as a result of the acquisition of Force10 Networks, where he was VP of Sales, BusDev & Strategy for the Americas and contributed significantly to Force10’s data center strategy and product direction. He built the company’s sales and systems engineering team, diversifying the business by developing a channels field organization, and leading Force10 to its largest sales revenue growth and consequent acquisition by Dell. Previously, Kash served at Cisco for seven years in lead roles in customer advocacy, sales/product engineering and sales management. During this time, he helped design some of the largest data centers and complex enterprise networking environments for Fortune 500 companies. Kash holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and from UC Berkeley’s Haas Business School. He earned his MS degree in Computer Engineering from Purdue University.
