Steven is a strategic and transformational leader driven to accelerate business innovation and growth through effective use of new and emerging technologies. Steven has held senior level positions in leading global Professional Services and product companies, serving as the primary conduit between business and technology executive stakeholders. His passion for technology is equally matched by a high capacity to ensure business outcomes and he is adept at communicating complex concepts and plans from Board level through to the HR practitioner. Steven's current areas of expertise include cross-industry Cloud and Digital strategy and transition management. He is focused on helping clients move complex legacy "landed" technology to more agile cloud environments with a strict emphasis on reducing cost, eliminating long-term fixed cost risk, and achieving significant improvements in business agility and innovation.
Richard Atkins Director, Oracle Cloud Practice, Certus APAC
Richard has over 20 years’ experience helping businesses around the world modernise their HR practices through the adoption of Oracle’s HCM cloud applications. He spent his early years working for Oracle as a technical consultant, before moving on to become a solution architect specialising in the delivery of Oracle HCM and Payroll solutions before joining Certus. Richard joined Certus in 2012 and took on the role of Head of Cloud Applications Practice. Since joining he has successfully expanded the practice to now employing 85+ consultants with offices in UK, Australia and India. Richard is widely recognised as a leading expert in the implementation of technology to enable organisational innovation and transformation. He has been responsible for the successful delivery of multiple Cloud implementation projects in the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, United States, South America, Africa and the Middle East and was closely involved in the DHL Innovation project. Richard was recently awarded by Oracle the title of Oracle ACE, an accolade given to only a small number of individuals globally. He regularly speaks at conferences globally, is a certified trainer who has run implementation courses and expert seminars on Cloud HCM throughout the world for multiple clients and consultancies. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors, BSc (Hons), in Computing in Business from Brunel University (2:1).
