Biography:
Rohit Gupta is Group Vice President of Cloud Security products at Oracle Corporation with responsibility for developing, communicating and delivering on Oracle's strategy for securing the enterprise hybrid Cloud. He joined Oracle through the acquisition of Palerra, a market-leading Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), where he was founder and CEO. Prior to founding Palerra, Rohit was Vice President and General Manager for the Remedy IT Service Management division at BMC Software, a product line producing over $500M in revenues, as well as Vice President of Product Management for Identity and Access Management (IAM) at Oracle Corporation, growing their IAM market presence from a nascent player to overall market leadership.

Vijay Tatkar
Director, Product Management Oracle Management Cloud

Biography:
Vijay is Product Management Director for Oracle Management Cloud. Vijay has over 29 years of industry experience, about 25+ years of those managing developers and development tools engineering. He has worked in, and managed, Developer Tools, Analyzers and Cloud computing tools in the past. Rapid changes in developer trends to DevOps, Microservices driven architectures and Cloud and making sense of the enormous amount of data generated has drawn Vijay to Oracle Systems & Security Management Cloud (OMC) In his time outside work, Vijay enjoys hiking the wonderful California landscape, music and is an avid fan of Cricket.

Russ Lowenthal
Director, Product Management

Biography:
Russ Lowenthal is the Director of Product Management for Database Security, focused on database encryption, access control, audit, and monitoring.
Russ is based in Orlando, Florida, USA and has been with Oracle for over nineteen years. Leveraging close to thirty years of experience in IT including database, UNIX systems and network administration, he now advises Oracle's customers on secure implementations of information systems technology. Russ' certifications include Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM), Oracle Certified Master (OCM), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Certified Technical Trainer (CTT).

Laurent Gil
Senior Evangelist, Product Strategy, OCI

Biography:
Laurent Gil joined Oracle OCI in early 2018 with Oracle’s acquisition of Zenedge. - was Chief Product Officer and co-founder of Zenedge Inc., a cybersecurity company he founded in 2014.
He is the CEO and co-founder of facial recognition software and machine learning company Viewdle, which was acquired by Google in 2012.
Laurent holds degrees from the Cybernetic Institute of Ukraine (Doctorate Honoris Causa), the Wharton School of Business (MBA), Supélec (M.Sc., Computer Science and Signal processing), the Collège des Ingénieurs in Paris (Post-graduate degree, Management), and is Summa Cum Laude of The University of Bordeaux (B.S. Mathematics).

Adina Simu
Vice President, Product Management

Biography:
Adina Simu is the head of product for Oracle CASB Cloud Service and a Vice President of Product Management at Oracle. She was the Vice President of Products at Palerra, the leading Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) acquired by Oracle in 2016. Prior to Palerra, Adina held several leadership positions at CipherCloud, VMware, and Cisco. With 20 years of experience in enterprise solutions, Adina’s expertise spans security, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, enterprise software, virtualization, networking, cryptography, business applications architecture, and information management. She has been a CISSP since 2009 and holds several patents in security. Adina has been responsible for a variety of security solutions including Palerra LORIC for Cloud Security, the CipherCloud data protection platform, VMware NSX network and security, and Cisco VPNs and PKI. She received an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in Computer Science from Telecom Bretagne, France, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania.

Venu Shastri
Director, Product Management

Biography:
Venu Shastri is the Director of Product Management for Hybrid Identity & Cloud Transition. He has over 20 years of experience in building products for the enterprise with expertise in the cloud transition and identity & access management technologies. He has been with Oracle for 7 years and is driving the hybrid and cloud migration strategy for IDM to enable large, complex IAM deployments to transition to IDCS in phases without disrupting core business operations. Prior to Oracle, Venu had co-founded an enterprise social software startup called SamePage taking it from inception to market over 6 years. He has also worked in a consulting capacity to complex software projects for NASA, US Army, BT and others.
Venu Shastri has done his MBA (Innovation & Technology) from The Leavey School of Business (Santa Clara) and an Executive Program (Blockchain technologies) from MIT.
