Vision – Worksite 2030
Jeff Burcin Kaplanoglu, Senior Director Product and Industry Strategy, Oracle
Discussions about how technology will positively disrupt engineering and construction are increasingly prevalent, with observers (and vendors) eagerly positioning any number of emerging technologies as potential game changers for the industry. To make sense of this noisy landscape and get a more holistic sense of where this journey may take us, let's imagine what the E&C world might look like in 2030. This won't require a science fiction mindset; all of the use cases examined in this presentation are based on technology already available or currently under development, and data-driven technologies that increase productivity and safety are already improving outcomes in the industry. So, let's imagine the world of worksite as it may appear in 2030 if technology development continues apace.
