Ashley Mahan FedRAMP Security Evangelist General Services Administration
Ashley Mahan is the General Services Administration’s (GSA) first Agency Evangelist for the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). Ashley is a trusted liaison between federal agencies, industry cloud services providers, and other stakeholder groups advocating for and facilitating the adoption of secure cloud technologies across the federal government. Ashley is responsible for managing FedRAMP’s agency engagement, outreach and customer experience activities, which consists of over 130 federal agencies and 150+ industry partners. Additionally, Ashley serves as a FedRAMP Subject Matter Expert (SME) in navigating the FedRAMP authorization process as well as aiding agencies/cloud service providers in achieving technical security compliance.
Gail Coury Chief Information Security Officer Oracle
Gail has over twenty years of experience in information security infrastructure systems and network management, security technical consulting, information systems auditing, and programming. She leads the information security function for Oracle Cloud globally, which includes SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and Managed cloud services. Gail has responsibility for security strategy, security solutions, managed security services, operational compliance, customer security services, and regulatory compliance. She is the former CISO for PeopleSoft and former CISO for J.D. Edwards.
Sonny Bhagowalia Deputy Assistant Commissioner for Information Technology U. S. Customs and Border Protection
Sanjeev “Sonny” Bhagowalia is Senior Advisor on Technology and Cybersecurity in the Commissioner’s Office of the Bureau of the Fiscal Service (FS) at the U.S. Department of the Treasury as of the start of Fiscal Year 2018. In this role he is helping FS modernize and secure High Value Assets (HVAs) in its stewardship role of the national financial ecosystem. Prior to this role, he served for three years as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Information Systems and CIO at Treasury. For three years, Sonny served as the “first-ever” CIO for the State of Hawaii reporting to the Governor and served as the Governor’s Chief Advisor on Technology and Cybersecurity. He has served in various senior executive CXO leadership roles while at GSA; U.S. Department of Interior; and the FBI. He has also served at a Chief Engineer level at the Boeing Company for 14 years supporting various U.S. Government clients. He has led IT/IRM modernization efforts in various capacities in his 33-year career with 33 national awards for his work and service. He has a BS-EE, MS-EE, MS-IRM and is a twice distinguished graduate from the National Defense University with an IRM Diploma and a Federal CIO certification.

Francis Rose is an award-winning broadcaster, journalist, speaker, writer, and host of Government Matters on Washington, DC's WJLA/ABC7 and News Channel 8. He has covered all three branches of the federal government as a broadcast journalist since 1998. He was host of "In Depth with Francis Rose" on Federal News Radio from 2008 to 2015 after joining the station in 2006. His guest list has included virtually every important name in the federal government.
Ronald Rice Cloud Cybersecurity Standards Lead Standards & Analysis Division Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)
Mr. Ronald Rice serves as the principal author of the Department of Defense Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (CC SRG) at the Defense Information Systems Agency. The CC SRG provides the framework by which DOD assesses Non-DoD Federal Government and Commercial CSPs for receiving a DOD Provisional Authorization (PA) to host DOD systems, applications, and information. The CC SRG also provides these organizations with guidance and requirements for integrating with DOD networks and Cyber Security Services while also providing guidance and requirements for DOD Component's Mission Owners' use of all Cloud Computing Service Offerings (CSOs). Mr. Rice graduated from Church Farm School, attended Drexel University for several years for electrical engineering, and is now a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
