Changing Infrastructure in the Cloud Infrastructure as code is the process of provisioning and managing IT infrastructure machine-readable files, instead of physical hardware configuration. Infrastructure as code, or programmable infrastructure, is writing code (which can be done using a high level language or any descriptive language) to manage configurations and automate provisioning of infrastructure in addition to deployments. Oracle delivers IaaS in a manner that does not compromise the levels of security, transparency, and governance enterprises are accustomed to within their on-premises deployments. Oracle IaaS supports infrastructure as code using Terraform. HashiCorp Terraform is an open source orchestration tool for provisioning of cloud infrastructure and related resources. The Terraform tool processes a configuration file representing the desired infrastructure state and applies the required changes to the target environment to create and update the configured resources. By treating "infrastructure-as-code" Terraform enables repeatable provisioning that can easily be incorporated in DevOps practices and CI/CD automation. Many customers have adopted this DevOps model for a fast and more reliable software delivery. Join us in this session to learn how you can leverage on a DevOps model by treating infrastructure as code and applying this best practice to your cloud infrastructure.Workshop requirement: Do remember to bring along your laptop for the hands-on session.
