DIGITAL WORKSHOPS Moving from Resources Driven Planning to the Results Based Approach - Julien Mallet & Fabrice Holzer
Budget is much too often based on a resources valuation limited by the annual funding regime, neither considering the multi-annual objectives regime nor enlisting the required resource competencies and capacities. If we could build our budget based on well-defined and measurable objectives, and then easily roll back to the allocated resources, objectives owners would be given the possibility to primarily focus on the outcomes and outputs, not on the sole resources valuation.
See how a modern budgeting and forecasting tool can ease the change by ruling the association between metrics and standards costs. Thereby you will empower your budget owners for managing these metrics providing what-if analyses under one single user experience of a comprehensive analytical tool, reconciling any data from objectives, planning, accounting, reporting and monitoring systems.
