NODE.JS HACKATHON

Join us for a Hackathon to explore cloud native web application development using Node.js, AngularJS and get first-hand experience with Oracle Public Cloud.

What can you expect to learn?
  • Code a complete Craigslist style marketplace app ground up
  • Import Node.js applications into the Developer Cloud Service from GitHub.com
  • Build, deploy and run a Node.js app on Oracle Public Cloud
  • Build and deploy applications in your own DevOps environment with Developer Cloud Service
  • Build backend RESTful APIs in Node.js
  • Build the front-end using AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3

Who is this event for?
Web Developers, Engineers, Architects, Aspiring node/javascript/angularjs developers, Oracle public cloud customers, Java developers looking to learn newer technologies.

Prerequisites
Basic programming skills, preferably javascript. Knowledge of HTML & CSS.

Participants need to bring their own laptops with wifi, a usb port, and the latest version of Oracle Virtual Box installed. You can download it here. A VM image will be supplied.

Seats are very limited so register early!
