His popular IT books have been translated into many languages and have sold over 100,000 copies. His latest book is entitled "Data Virtualization for Business Intelligence Systems". Hans Gelaude started with Oracle products more than 15 years ago as a database administrator, and started working at Synergics in 2006, fulfilling the role as Oracle technical specialist.
Hans helps customers designing their database infrastructure, and provides an optimized and cost-friendly solution, combining on-premise and cloud technologies. Hans became team lead databases and development and competence lead Oracle. He plays a key role in educating colleagues and customers on Oracle database technologies. Hans enjoys researching and testing new Oracle features.

Starting his IT career in 1994 as automation engineer at Kredietbank, Dieter has been working for more than 15 years as a technology evangelist at IT vendors where the focus is on innovation.
He joined Sun Microsystems as a System Engineer, where he spread he Java word all over Benelux region and made it fastest adopted development technology ever. Growing into a managing role, Dieter became manager of the product presales group at Sun in Belgium in 2000. Dieter moved to BEA Systems in 2002 to become Benelux presales manager evolving into a Northern Europe presales director role in 2005, managing presales in 9 countries in the Benelux, Nordic and Eastern European regions. As part of the BEA acquisition in 2008, Dieter became Senior manager for middleware sales consultancy in Belgium & Luxembourg, and as of late 2009 Senior manager sales consultancy for the total technology product line.

Mughees Minhas is responsible for all aspects of product management relating to database and systems management solutions at Oracle Corporation. He has more than 20 years of experience working with Oracle products with special interests in the areas of systems management, performance diagnostics, tuning, and SQL optimization. Mughees is a frequent speaker at various Oracle forums and has authored several papers on the internal workings and usage best practices of a wide variety of Oracle technologies. Mughees holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is currently Vice President of Product Management in Oracle Enterprise Manager Products division.
