Simon Dakin is Manager QA IT Systems at Metro Cash & Carry. He is British, but based in Düsseldorf, where he started at Metro in September 2006. Simon is passionate about bringing positive and sustainable change to the organization. Since 2011 he has been part of the team responsible for Quality-Link. Since 2014, has lead the Quality-Link roll-out for all Metro Cash & Carry countries and is also responsible for other QA systems. This involves close communication with the 26 Metro countries, on-site training and continual enhancements of the tools to meet local legislative and company requirements.
Sarah Blanchard is Head of Quality Systems, Strategy and Innovation at Metro Cash & Carry. She is a born and raised Zimbabwean, but based in Düsseldorf. Sarah is a food technology professional with 18 years experience working in the food business, and has lived and worked in the UK, Japan, Ukraine, Germany and Singapore. Within Metro Cash & Carry’s Corporate Quality Department, responsible for QA IT systems strategy and implementation, quality standards development and internal assessment, customer response, communication, training & analytics, innovation and packaging.
