The Internet of Things Will Change Your Business: What's Your Plan?
The Internet of Things (IoT) represents the convergence of mobile, cloud, big data, and analytics. To leverage the IoT and reinvent themselves, businesses have to grapple with the complexities of managing big data, multiple devices, platforms, and connections. Connected devices that form the genesis of the IoT are getting smarter. They are evolving our physical world into a new kind of interconnected information system, driving a new wave of data, and creating unprecedented business value by driving new revenue services for those who embrace the opportunity.
The IoT is uniquely transformative and has the potential to reinvent everything from supply chains to the customer experience. It will help companies apply data-driven insights and use machine-to-machine technology to diagnose and solve problems—closer to the edge device and without human intervention. The question is how do you quickly pinpoint the innovations and opportunities that will help your company use IoT data to reinvent your business for the digital age?
Session Highlights: -
The IoT revolution: productive or disruptive?
-
IoT at work: perspectives on driving success
-
Oracle's vision for a secure IoT from the edge to the enterprise: insights into a holistic solution
Who Should Attend: -
CEOs/CIOs/CTOs of organizations planning or delivering IoT and M2M strategies or initiatives
-

| 09:30 - 10:00 | Executive Welcome and Keynote Scott Armour, Group Vice President, Java Business, Oracle
Experts agree that the Internet of Things will be disruptive to business and society, and in a bigger way than what we have seen from major shifts such as mobile devices and social media. According to a recent Business Insider survey, only 15 percent of companies have solutions that will help them take advantage of the Internet of Things.
The IoT is a game-changer that can transform business and deliver the opportunity to create new revenue models and drive profound change no matter what markets are being served—from automotive to utilities, from building control to healthcare. Do you have a plan? Will you be a leader, a follower, or an outlier when it comes to the IoT? Join this new information superhighway of device–generated data and leverage it to differentiate your business. |

| 10:00 - 10:30 | Transforming Business: Edge to Enterprise, Peter Utzschneider, Vice President, Product Management, Oracle
The Internet of Things poses a huge opportunity to fundamentally change your business. But in order to do so you must adopt a new way of managing a variety of complex and quickly changing data in order to achieve business differentiation. A robust and scalable infrastructure is needed that is always on and can handle massive amounts of data, transforming it for immediate business value. These end-to-end requirements include greater device flexibility, comprehensive security, and device cloud analytics. Couple that with a purpose-built enterprise solution that incorporates business intelligence, big data, and analytics to help enable decisions faster than ever before, even in the cloud. Take a closer look at Oracle's transformative IoT platform built specifically to meet customer and market requirements. |

| 10:30 - 11:00 | Encapsulating Complexity in IoT Solutions
Machine to Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) projects follow a common technological paradigm: Intelligent devices, seamlessly connected to the Internet, enable remote services and provide actionable data. Designing and implementing distributed device infrastructures can quickly reach a level of complexity that is difficult to overcome for many companies. With Oracle Enterprise SW Technology as a solid foundation, Euro tech develops and offers the technical building blocks required to build and maintain distributed systems of devices and sensors which are effectively connected to IT infrastructures.
Eurotech solutions are a combination of hardward firmware, operating systems, programming frameworks, as well as a cloud-based and on-premise M2M Integration platform, that dramatically accelerate the time to market of M2M/ IoT projects and enable customers to layer their added-value components on a reliable ready-to use infrastructure. |
