Tony Baer is the founding principal of dbInsight LLC, which provides independent counsel to data and analytics technology providers navigating a changing world where cloud deployment, artificial intelligence, and data are upending their client’s expectations. Baer is an authority on how cloud-native architecture can transform traditional on-premise data platforms, and how it can be used to break down data and application silos. He coauthored some of the earliest books on the Java and .NET frameworks, including Understanding the .NET Framework and J2EE Technology in Practice. His career began as journalist with leading publications including Computerworld, Application Development Trends, Computergram, Software Magazine, InformationWeek, and Manufacturing Business Technology. Tony continues to partner with Ovum to deliver custom and consulting engagements.
Principal Analyst, Ovum
Jeremy Cox is a Principal Analyst in Ovum's Customer Engagement team, helping enterprises develop omnichannel customer engagement capabilities to deliver positive customer experiences. He leads research and insights into CRM and its potential for spearheading customer-driven business transformation (the customer-adaptive enterprise). Jeremy also advises on strategy and provides capabilities assessments and insights into how enterprise can evolve faster. On joining Ovum, Jeremy established the broader customer-adaptive enterprise context, identifying eight attributes that organizations need to be relevant to their customers. These include visionary leadership, an engaged workforce, a superior customer experience, continuous innovation and an adaptive enterprise architecture.

Savita Raina is the Director of Product Marketing, Oracle Cloud (Emerging Tech). She is responsible for go-to market initiatives for portfolio of platform cloud services. She holds +12 years of work experience in high tech enterprise software and semiconductor industries. She has a diverse set of experiences that span from engineering design & development to product marketing & strategy. Prior to Oracle, she has worked at SAP, Sybase, Proofpoint, MKS Instruments and Oerlikon. She holds a MBA from Santa Clara University and MS in Electrical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. She has hosted and spoken at various technology industry events. Besides work, she is very passionate about conservation, education, social services and public speaking. She has also served as a board member at YMCA Urban Services a bay area social services non-profit.
VP Developer Engagement, Oracle
As Vice President of Developer Engagement Matt leads a team focused on enabling Oracle customers to build innovative solutions on Oracle’s Gen 2 infrastructure and services. The team engages across Oracle’s cloud offerings, our customer and partner communities, and the open source ecosystem to enable customers to build & deploy modern solutions, services, and apps. Previously, as General Manager of Microsoft’s Platform Evangelism organization Matt led an organization responsible for enterprise, startup, and student engagement for Microsoft’s platforms, with a primary focus on cloud, AI/ML, web, and mobile. When not working alongside Oracle’s customers building the next generation of cloud-based services, you will likely find Matt off an island somewhere participating in his other passion, underwater photography. Senior Product Marketing Director, Oracle
Justin Charness is Director of Product Marketing for Artificial Intelligence at Oracle. He is responsible for go-to-market and marketing strategy for artificial intelligence and machine learning products and services on the Oracle Cloud. Prior to this role, Justin was head of marketing for DataScience.com, a leading machine learning platform provider, which was acquired by Oracle in May 2018. Justin has an M.B.A from the University of Southern California- Marshall School of Business, and B.S from the University of Wisconsin- Madison.
Chief Technology Officer, NetExam
Himansu is a Software Entrepreneur and Technologist. As CTO of MediaDefined, he led the
team that developed the award-winning NetExam LMS. He was co-founder of ensemba, the
Social Recommendation System based on a patent-pending algorithm. Himansu holds a Master
of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Texas Tech and a B.S. in Computer Science and
Mathematics from Connecticut State. He lives in Dallas with his wife, daughter, and son.
