The Bear Institute Pediatric Accelerator Challenge for Kids (PACK) brings together entrepreneurs, pediatric healthcare practitioners and administrators, and investors from around the country annually to help close the immense innovation gap in children’s digital health. Top pediatric healthcare start-ups with innovations that are in Early-stage Innovation, Concept Validation, Early Commercialization, and Growth Trajectory stages of development will register their solution in hopes of becoming a finalist. Start-ups selected as finalists will get to present their innovations on December 6 at an in-person event in Kansas City. These presentations will be to a panel of expert judges who will provide valuable feedback on potential ways to enhance their solutions and associated value. The Bear Institute PACK awards ceremony will take place on December 7, and winners of each category will win Oracle Cloud Infrastructure credits and an opportunity to pitch their solution for a potential on-site pilot at Children’s National Hospital. This year's Bear Institute PACK is part of a larger Innovation Day event that will provide start-up finalists great networking opportunities to engage with roughly 300 healthcare executives and industry partners. Start-up finalists are invited to host a table featuring their solution in the events' "Innovation Row," an immersive space that will highlight the latest and greatest in healthcare. Don't miss the opportunity to make valuable industry contacts and share your innovation on a broader scale. Start-ups interested in submitting an innovation for consideration in the challenge can do so by clicking the ‘Register for Event’ button at the top of the page. Or, for more information surrounding start-up requirements and other frequently asked questions, click the various tabs above. Finalists will be announced on November 3. *Please note that the registration process includes time for judges to evaluate submissions. Only start-ups selected as finalists will be invited to the in-person event in Kansas City on December 6 - 7.
