	Andy Mendelsohn Senior Vice President, Oracle Server Technologies Andrew Mendelsohn is Executive Vice President for Database Server Technologies at Oracle. He is responsible for the development and product management of Oracle's family of database products, including software products such as Oracle Database, Oracle TimesTen In-Memory Database, Oracle Berkeley DB, and Oracle NoSQL Database and engineered systems such as Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Oracle Database Appliance, and Oracle Big Data Appliance. Mr. Mendelsohn has been at Oracle since May 1984. He began his career at Oracle as a developer on Release 5.1 of Oracle Database. Prior to joining Oracle, he worked at HP and ESVEL. Mr. Mendelsohn holds a BSE in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University and performed graduate work in computer science at M.I.T.
	Carl W. Olofson Research Vice President, Application Development and Deployment, IDC Carl Olofson performs research and analysis for IDC’s Information Management and Data Integration Software service within the Application Development and Deployment research group. Mr. Olofson’s research involves following sales and technical developments in the information and data management (IDM) markets, database management systems (DBMS) markets, data movement and replication software, data management software, metadata management software, and the vendors of related tools and software systems. Mr. Olofson also contributes overview and data integration research content to Integration and Deployment Software, which covers developments in software technologies that manage the overall integrated deployment of applications developed and maintained using application development and deployment software. Mr. Olofson also advises clients on market and technology directions as well as performing supply and demand-side primary research to size, forecast, and segment the database market.
	Jens-Christian Pokolm Analyst IT - Database Architecture & Engineering, Postbank Systems AG
	Dr. Maaike Limper CERN Openlab Fellow for the IT-DB group Extensive experience in C++ software development for processing and analyzing the billions of events produced by the Large Hadron Collider. PhD in physics and co-discoverer of the Higgs boson as part of the ATLAS collaboration. Experience running, and developing software for various distributed data processing systems.
