Mukhtar Ahmed
Vice President of Product Strategy

As Vice President of Product Strategy, Mukhtar helps life science organizations streamline and enhance clinical R&D using Oracle solutions. Mukhtar has over twenty years of experience in the clinical research, business consulting and informatics industries, having positions at Medidata, Kendle, PAREXEL and IBM, and serving as a board member to the NHS Primary Care and Strategic Health Trusts. Mukhtar is a regular industry speaker on the role of clinical technologies to further R&D strategy, strategic outsourcing, medical devices, and telemetry. Mukhtar earned a B.Sc (Honors) in Applied Systems and M.Sc (Honors) in Neurological Imaging from Brunel University, and a MBA and post graduate diploma in computer science at Buckinghamshire University College.
Leyla Badakhshanian
Manager, Product Strategy

Leyla works directly with customers and product development to deliver software releases and optimize the future product roadmap. She previously worked for four years in the product management group at ClearTrial, becoming one of the key subject matter experts of the product. She has worked successfully as a technical liaison between the business stakeholders and development groups on various software web-based applications at Navteq/Nokia and Computer Sciences Corporation. Leyla began her professional career in Accenture’s internal technical solutions team after obtaining a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
Scott Bockelman
Group Manager, Applications Development

Scott is currently the manager of the development and quality assurance team for the Oracle Health Sciences ClearTrial application. Prior to coming to Oracle, in 2006, Scott was the founding architect of ClearTrial.
Scott has 25 years of experience in the software industry, and is currently focused in finding opportunities to help customers solve problems or improve trial planning and CRO negotiations through the use of Oracle Health Sciences ClearTrial software.
Kyle Cunningham
Vice President of Product Management

Kyle’s primary focus is to ensure that Greenphire remains both innovative and client-focused, responding rapidly to market needs by identifying and understanding clients’ unique business challenges and then building state-of-the-art solutions to solve them.
Kyle brings to Greenphire over 13 years of experience spanning product strategy, product management, project management, relationship management and operations management. Prior to joining Greenphire, Kyle worked for SEI Investments (Europe) Ltd., where he focused on product and service strategy for international investment processing and management.
Karen Griffin
Director Strategic Resourcing

Karen is currently heading up the Strategic Resource Optimisation team at GSK, working alongside a number of Strategic Relationship directors for CRO’s and Central Labs, and working closely with Procurement, Contracts, Finance and study teams.
Karen’s working history includes of 30 + years with GSK and earlier parent companies, starting life at Beecham Pharmaceuticals as a microbiologist. She has had roles spanning multiple phases of clinical development, from discovery thru to late phase and then early phase, followed by a period of time on specific process improvement projects, finally joining the Strategic Resourcing space a couple of years ago.
Kate Shelton
Senior Solutions Sales Consultant

Kate is responsible for providing Global Product and Solution knowledge to current customers and prospects specific to the ClearTrial Cloud Services product suite and the Siebel Clinical Trial Management Solution.
Prior to joining Oracle, Kate served as a Product Specialist Manager at ClearTrial. In that role, Kate worked with CRO and Sponsor organizations to provide product demonstrations, deliver ROI analyses, and execute on the Sales strategy of the ClearTrial team. Prior to that, Kate was the Proposals Manager at Octagon Research Solutions where she led a team that was responsible for the delivery of over 700+ responses to RFP’s and RFI’s per year to various Sponsors and Biotech organizations worldwide. Before Octagon, Kate worked as a Contracts Associate in the Finance department at ICON Clinical Research supporting IVRS, Data Management, Bio-Statistical and Consulting contracts for various Sponsors and Bio Tech organizations worldwide.
