“Project Symphony: Ideation to Execution”
African and Eastern and Gulf Beverage (A+E) is a leading distributor of Alcohol beverages in the Middle East distributing world class brands like Corona, Carlsberg, Fosters, Stella, Peroni, Diageo etc. With a background on above challenges, A+E ventured into implementation of Demantra DM, AFDM and RTSOP with the key areas of:
Increasing the participants in consensus forecasting apart from Planners and Category including function like Sales.
Crashing the S&OP cycle time by at least 7 days which will bring more agility and faster decision making in the business.
With no process on NPI to creating a process of NPI with Demand shaping and cloning.
Rapid implementation cycle possible due to unique implementation methodology.
Improving the productivity and efficiency of the process by at least 30% and at same time targeting improvement in MAPE by 7 to 10% point.
Providing improved information visibility which will allow data slice and dice similar to any BI tools for better forecasting.
Having compared other solutions, Demantra was selected for its Beyesian modeling capability and S&OP workflows for the integration into A+E’s Oracle/JDE ERP infrastructure. Identifying the right implementation partner for the project and getting them engaged from the project objectives standpoint is the key success criteria for the project.
