Oracle Keynote: Innovation in Practice
In the new digital era, surviving the current shift in technology and business practices requires having the courage to change and the sense to maintain continuity. The businesses that have made the shift developed parallel strategies: one focused on optimizing the current business, including customer experience and internal operations; and the other on fueling innovation-led growth through a digital transformation. Hear the stories of unlikely innovators -- large, traditional companies that have transformed themselves. The strategy behind Oracle customers' success? Simplifying I.T.
Track 1: Pathway to Your Cloud
Oracle's Cloud Computing Strategy: Your Strategy, Your Cloud, Your Choice
As enterprise adoption of cloud computing accelerates, organizations must have a strategy and plan for moving to the cloud. What should you put into public clouds? Should you create a private cloud? Should you use cloud applications, platform or infrastructure? How should organizations get started on the road to cloud computing? This session explores best practices for how organizations can move to cloud computing. See how to define your roadmap to a cloud environment, whether in a private, public or hybrid cloud. Examine the trade-offs of the different cloud models. See how Oracle's complete offering gives you the choice of the best implementation for your organization.
Oracle Database 12c: Engineered for Clouds
Oracle Database 12c introduced a new multitenant architecture and a range of features that can help customers simplify database consolidation in the cloud, deliver database as a service, integrate big data into enterprise data warehouses, and greater efficiencies and cost savings with engineered systems. In this session, we'll discuss the latest developments from Oracle Database, see Oracle Database 12c in action, and get a preview of what's on the database horizon.

Oracle's Strategy for Public Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Services
Oracle Cloud delivers the broadest selection of enterprise-grade public cloud solutions, including software as a service (SaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and infrastructure as a service (IaaS). Attend this session for an overview of Oracle's strategy for public cloud PaaS and IaaS. This session includes demos and customer showcases illustrating features and benefits of utilizing Oracle Cloud platform and infrastructure services.
Delivering Database as a Service
IT leaders are turning to the cloud to increase agility and reduce costs. During this session, learn how Oracle offers a complete Database as a Service (DBaaS) solution that delivers on a broad range of requirements including simplified database consolidation, mission-critical deployments and extreme scalability. We'll discuss how the new multitenant architecture in Oracle Database 12c lends itself to providing DBaaS and you'll gain exposure to a number of customer case studies that demonstrate how delivering DBaaS is providing a superior service while lowering CapEx and OpEx costs.
Cloud Security and Compliance
In a recent survey of IT workers, 54% believe that their organization will likely suffer a security breach in the next year because of cloud provider security risks. (Ponemon Sept, 5 2011) Unlocking the business potential of the cloud requires a more proactive and cost effective approach. In this session you will learn how to apply Oracle technologies and services to reduce the risk of fraud, secure private data and provide security governance for the cloud.
Track 2: Transform the Enterprise: Simplify. Differentiate. Innovate.
Transform the Enterprise: Simplify. Differentiate. Innovate.
Competing in an increasingly dynamic and global economy, organizations need to focus on achieving market leadership, keep up with changing consumer demands and transforming their enterprises. With new emerging technology trends, enterprises are often left with little room for innovation. Imagine having the blueprint outlining how to take advantage of your existing IT investments in addition to embracing new industry leading technologies. Oracle offers a complete, open, and best of breed middleware solution that help reduce complexity, simplify IT infrastructure, differentiate from the competition and innovate for the future.
The Engagement Challenge: Empowering Your Organization to Put Information into Action
Today's organizations generate tremendous amounts of content and data but struggle to engage with it in relevant ways that help deliver on business objectives. In order to tap the full power of your content and data, it must be transformed into actionable information that is easily accessible to the right user in the right context. Oracle WebCenter gives people the tools they need to engage with information in meaningful ways so they can make better decisions and achieve their goals.
Integration for the Enterprise and the Cloud
Recent demands to integrate cloud applications with your existing on-premise application infrastructure combined with the urgency to enable mobile applications threaten to increase integration complexity. Attend this session to learn how customers are deploying Oracle's integration offerings in application integration, business process management, data integration, event processing, and SOA to transform disparate tools and processes into a simplified and unified middleware integration solution.
Enterprise Mobility: All About the Platform
Enterprise mobility is fundamentally changing the IT landscape. Mobile devices are spreading faster than any other consumer technology in history. Mobile is becoming a core part of the enterprise, and enterprises need to adapt quickly. Enterprises are discovering they need the right blend of business, marketing, design, and technology expertise to succeed with their mobile strategy. How do you simplify your mobile application architecture and define a strategy that works across your enterprise? Is there a development platform that allows you to build a set of applications that can be deployed across multiple channels, both desktop and mobile? In this session we will discuss the options and provide an overview of Oracle's mobile platform and how it supports your enterprise mobile requirements today and tomorrow.
Securing the New Digital Experience
The most innovative companies will find new paths to market by embracing cloud, mobile and social as a means to reducing cost, improving productivity and connecting with customers. Unfortunately 15% of social networking accounts have been infiltrated and 21% of consumers have fallen prey to mobile or social attacks. According to one recent study 54% of organizations worry about a data breach at cloud provider site. In order to differentiate and transform organizations will need to enable the interaction and secure the experience. While the threats are outside, the risks are inside. In this session we will discuss how a security inside out strategy can manage the risks, prevent the threats and unlock the opportunities.
The Innovator's Application Platform: Are You Keeping Up?
Businesses are faced with tremendous opportunity to drive new and innovative business models and revenue streams, thanks to an explosion in mobile and social activity. But many have to meet these needs without an increased IT budget. Cloud application platforms enable delivery of information and functionality to users and systems with greater agility and lower TCO. With Oracle Cloud Application Foundation, the road to cloud is already paved. In this session we will cover how your investment in technologies such as WebLogic Server and Coherence will enable you to evolve your application platform to support new business requirements without breaking the budget.
Cultivate IT Innovation with Oracle Exalogic and Oracle Exadata
To make the IT department an integral part of the corporate innovation process, you need an environment where it can experiment with new ideas and collaborate with the business. However, this is difficult to achieve with complex, heavily customized, outdated application infrastructures. In this session we'll discuss Oracle Exalogic and Oracle Exadata, which form a pre-built, pre-integrated platform for running your entire software stack. Learn how a flexible, scalable infrastructure can free IT to focus on innovation and enable cloud computing, big data and other top corporate priorities.
