| | Paul O'Riordan Head of Business Intelligence & Analytics UK and Ireland, Country Leader
Ireland, Oracle
Paul has been with Oracle for eleven years and has been the Country Leader for Ireland since 2006. He has held a variety of leadership roles during this time including Head of Consulting, Technology Sales Director, Head of Middleware for UKI and most recently he has been appointed to lead Oracle's Business Analytics Business for the UK, Ireland and Israel. An Electronic Engineering graduate of UCD, he has previously held Senior Management roles in Accenture, Pernod Ricard Irish Distillers and Horizon Technology Group (since acquired by Avnet). He is also a past Chairman of ICT Ireland.

| | Neil Sholay Senior Director, Oracle Digital, EMEA
As director of Oracle Digital, Neil Sholay is responsible for Oracle’s go to market strategy and thought leadership for Oracle in the Digital marketplace. With responsibility for strategic growth areas of Social, Mobility, Cloud (Private & Public), Big Data, Internet of Things and Customer Experience. With more than 15 years of IT experience, Mr. Sholay is a frequent speaker on the subjects of Future IT, Social, Cloud, Customer Experience, Mobility and IT Transformation. Mr. Sholay’s primary focus is market and business development which includes identifying new technology trends and developments and working closely with field sales & marketing to support Oracle’s strategic customers.
Mr. Sholay has experience of working on large scale IT infrastructure and transformation projects across all industries and regions. Prior to his appointment at Oracle, Mr. Sholay spent eight years with BEA Systems as Director of Telecom Markets, EMEA. In this role he acted as telecom domain expert for the company and was responsible for developing BEAs telecom strategy and bringing to market BEAs telecom product line; WebLogic Communications Platform.
Mr. Sholay also spent two years with ATG as Wireless Industry manager and two years with the e-business systems integrator Infogain as a consultant and later as practice manager for their advanced technologies group. Mr. Sholay started his career as a graduate with Sun Microsystems working for four years, initially as an engineer and then as part of the newly formed Java market development team which was the team that originally evangelized and brought the Java platform to market.
Mr. Sholay holds a BA degree in Business Management from the London Institute.

Geoff Scully was appointed Managing Director of Shop Direct Ireland Limited t/a Littlewoods Ireland, in 2005.
As Ireland’s leading online department store, Littlewoods Ireland offers a huge range of clothing, footwear, home wares, electrical appliances, toys and gifts. The website houses over 40,000 products and offers free delivery and free returns (free shipping).
Based in Shop Direct Ireland offices in Blanchard’s town, Dublin Geoff manages a staff of 25 across marketing, operations, finance and underwriting.
Geoff also advises start-up businesses in Ireland, he is currently Chairman of Picstash. He is passionate about retail, tech, digital, advertising and Manchester United. Originally from Dublin, Geoff lives with his partner, Valerie and their 6-year old twins in Laois.
| | Colin Bray Chief Executive, Ordnance Survey Ireland (OSI)
Colin Bray is Chief Executive Office and Chief Survey Officer of Ordnance Survey Ireland, the national mapping agency. Colin is a highly experienced leader with a solid understanding of change management, relationship management, surveying, mapping and technology gained over twenty years. Colin is a member of the Public Service CIO Council and a Director of EuroSDR (European Spatial Data Research organisation), having served as President of Commission 4 on Core Geospatial Databases. Colin is a Chartered Surveyor and has been an external examiner for the Dublin Institute of Technology.

Christine Curley, Principal BI Architect, Peak Indicators
Christine has over 15 years’ professional experience across the full delivery lifecycle of Business Intelligence and Architecture. She currently manages the Consultancy and Delivery Team within Peak Indicators Ireland bringing her wealth of experience to bear from a diverse range of service organisations. This includes change management, business development, delivering expert services and delivery of bespoke Information Systems.
Christine has a BSc (Hons) in Information Management and Politics. She is married to Eammon and has two young children.
Aengus Gordon, Senior Business Analyst, Dublin City University
Aengus has been working in Dublin City University for over 16 years. More recently, as a Senior Business Analyst, he has been developing the University's strategic direction on Business Intelligence. This includes Resource Planning and Operational Excellence across Finance and Human Resources together with providing Data Analytics in support of all Departments.
Nick Daniel, Head of Business Development, VocaLink
Nick has nearly 30 years’ experience in the provision of IT services to the financial sector, both in the UK and internationally and has worked for Reuters, Misys, Logica (CGI) and others.
Nick joined VocaLink in 2010, his business development role is focused entirely upon new developments and initiatives, providing the link between product development and the marketplace. In this role he headed VocaLink’s successful bid for the provision of the Payments Council’s Mobile Payments Service,Paym, a national infrastructure to facilitate mobile payments in the UK which went live on April 29th 2014 with 9 banks and brands. Whilst he continues working with the Payments Council on this initiative and further tranches of bank membership, his current focus is working with new and challenger banks, assisting them in the use of the major UK payment infrastructures. |
