Speakers | Hanspeter Kipfer Vice President Technology Sales & Country Leader Switzerland
Mr. Hanspeter Kipfer is Vice President Technology Sales & Country Leader Switzerland In this role, he is responsible for managing technology sales and leading cross-LOB efforts to grow and represent the Oracle Business in Switzerland. Hanspeter Kipfer joined Oracle in April 2006 through the acquisition of Siebel Systems where he held General Management responsibility for the Sales and Service Operations in Switzerland, Austria, Eastern Europe and CIS.
Mr. Kipfer has more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Prior to Oracle and Siebel, he spent two years with a German software start-up where he held senior leadership positions, including COO and Executive Vice President Global Sales.
Prior to this, Mr. Kipfer held various management positions at Sun Microsystems Inc. During his final two and a half years with the company, Kipfer ran the world-wide business which was generated or co-financed by the Multilateral Development Banks such as the World Bank, Inter American Development Bank (IDB) and/or the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) out of Washington D.C.
Mr. Kipfer holds a Degree in Telecommunications Engineering and Business & Administration.

Eva Dafonte Perez graduated in Computer Science in 2003 at the University of Vigo. She joined CERN in 2004 to work on Oracle technology, as a database administrator, mainly focused on high availability and data replication solutions. During several years, Eva was the section leader of the database front-end section in the Database Group, which provides database services based on Oracle.
