Oracle Database as a Service Workshop
Oracle’s private cloud solution for Database as a Service (DBaaS) can transform your organization by delivering agile, scalable, and sharable infrastructure that enables you to achieve your farthest-reaching IT goals.
Join us for a hands-on workshop to experience key aspects of planning, deploying, monitoring, and managing Database as a Service.
The session will start with the discussion about the architectural choices for building your enterprise cloud. Our technical experts will guide you through the steps involved in provisioning a database using Enterprise Manager’s Database Cloud functionality.
Next, you will be guided through the self-service experience of deploying infrastructure, database and application platform environments to help understand the real benefits of the services that can be provided to your business customers.
Participants will have the opportunity to define standardized templates for database services and publish them as services in virtual or physical environments, as well as learn how to scale out and scale back database resources. In this lab, you will learn about:
-
Provisioning an Oracle database using self-service portal
-
DBaaS using Schema as a Service
-
DBaaS using Database Cloning
-
Pluggable Database as a Service
-
DBaaS using APIs
